A funeral, wake or memorial can be a tough time, with a lot to organise. Allow Brophies to take some of the weight off and organise the funeral catering for you. We are a St Albans based company, but can deliver free to wherever a funeral, wake or memorial is being held in London, St Albans or the surrounding counties.

St Albans isn’t a big place, so we know the value of the personal touch. Co-owner Martin will talk you through the decisions you need to make, drawing on his confidant local knowledge of St Albans and London, and broad experience of catering for a funeral/wake/memorial. He will send you a clear written plan with costs before the funeral, wake or memorial, outlining the agreed payment arrangements. Martin will stay in touch with you to confirm the final numbers and provide an invoice for your records.

At Brophies we make your finger or fork buffet fresh on the day of the funeral, wake or memorial and deliver it to wherever the event is being held in London, St Albans or the surrounding areas. The food is presented on black oblong platters, covered, garnished and delivered ready to serve at an agreed time. We will also arrange to collect the platters after the wake as they are on free loan.

We can hire extra crockery and cutlery as part of our funeral catering service, so nobody will have to go short. We can also arrange staff to help make drinks and to ensure your family and friends are comfortable at the funeral, wake or memorial.

Our funeral catering menus are only suggestions and we are happy to work with you to create your own bespoke menu for the funeral, wake or memorial. We provide funeral catering food for a minimum of 30 people. We deliver throughout London and St Albans free charge, so there are no delivery costs or VAT.
